A booklet and Powerpoint on the sports included in the Olympics this year.
There are 4 tasks:

Paris 2024 Olympic Wordsearch
Stuednts smust find the French words in the wordsearch for the sports/events taking place during the Paris 2024 Olympics.
I have also included the answers. Ideal for a cover lesson and/or accompaniment for Dynamo 2 Moduule 5.
I have an addictional resource matching the Paris 2024 Pictograms. This included the same vocabulary and would work well together.

This helpsheet includes examples of required tenses for the GCSE exam.
It includes the following tenses/moods/structures.
Present (including modal verbs)
Past Perfect
Past Imperfect
Immediate Future
Conditional
All of the structures are followed by infinitive phrases from Theme 1, 2 and 3.

KS4 Coronation Lesson:
**Title: **Le couronnement du Roi Charles III
**Objective: **
To be able to recognise examples of the simple future within an authentic text about the King’s Coronation
Contents:
PowerPoint: Starter Task Scrabble Activity, Vocabulary Task, Tense Recognition Activity and Reading Comprehension Questions.
The text used is a slightly adapted version of a press release regarding the programme of festivities for the weekend of the Coronation.
Pupil Booklet:
Vocabulary Task, Tense Recognition Activity and Reading Comprehension Questions . The booklet can be printed on A4 or A3 paper and folded into a booklet
There is also a KS3 lesson available in my shop relating to the Coronation.

Objective: To be able to use the “futur proche” to describe how you will celebrate the King’s Coronation

PowerPoint and two worksheets to accompany Dynamo 3 Vert Module 3.3 Je suis allé(e) à un concert.
A stand alone, complete lesson including a variety of tasks/skills. It is designed for a low ability group.
Tasks include

Reading and Listening Tasks: You will require a Dynamo ActiveLearn subscription for these tasks ( they can easily be omitted if you don’t have one)
Mini whiteboard Task: Sentence builder
Speaking Task: Trapdoor/Encore une fois dialogue

Plenary: Opinions about music (embedded video) This recycles language the previous topic Dynamo Mod 3.1
All answers are included in the PowerPoint.
I have also included a worksheet to accompany the listening task along with a copy of a sentence builder.
This is a resource to accompany Dynamo 2 Qu’est-ce que tu as fait (au parc d’attractions)
It contains:
An embedded video link about Parc Asterix
A board game for pupils to play in pairs or groups.
An extension task
The only preparation required is printing the board game (a slide from the PPT)
You will also need dice.
The game works best once the unit has been taught. Ideal as a fun revision lesson.

GCSE French Options Presentation/Assembly
A PowerPoint to encourage pupil uptake at GCSE.
It contains an interactive quiz on languaage learning in general along with reasons to study French specifically.
Slide 9 has an overview of the AQA course but this could easily be deleted or adapted if you use a different exam board
The final slide contains an embeded YouTube clip which I suggest you stop playing at 2m56 (after Emma Stone speaks) This is the link for the clip if it doesn’t automatically play in the PPT.

This booklet is designed for speaking and writing preparation.
Print as an A3 booklet and there should be enough room for students to write a detailed answer in French and English.
There are 10 core questions per theme with additional questions in red for more able students.
